Another successful quick cooperation

Recently, Knowing Buddha Organization received notification from Buddhists who support the organization’s work in protecting Buddhism. The report suggested that Leela Heaven Co., Ltd., used Buddha’s image as decoration in their residential properties which considered to be disrespectful. Therefore, we informed the company that Buddha’s symbol should not be used for decorative or commercial purpose, and we decided to give the owner the right and proper ways to treat Buddha images

Not long after, Leela Heaven responded and was willing to resolve the matter. The company stated that they acknowledged sensitive religious matters and sincerely appreciated our guidance. The company determined to remove inappropriate Buddha statue from residential properties and willing to modify the way they advertise their products

We are grateful that Leela Heaven Co., Ltd. doing business with a sense of respect for all religions, adjusting for sensitive religious matters and social norms and are willingness to listen and correct for what is wrong.

Knowing Buddha Organization would like to express our sincere thanks to Leela Heaven Co., Ltd. for their understanding and prompt correction to prevent inappropriate behavior toward Buddha statue. We wish the company further success and prosperity in the future.

May we all be aware of this matter as a Buddhist. It is our duty when it comes to protecting and maintaining Buddhism and Buddha’s symbols. Although you are not Buddhist, proper respect is supposed to be spotted on in general. Guiding or correcting those around you who do not know would be highly appreciated.
