Another successful cooperation to stop selling printed Buddha products

Recently, Knowing Buddha Organization was notified that Creation Piwat shop, Facebook page selling miscellaneous products, sell various printed Buddha products. This is very inappropriate as Buddha is the Buddhist’s father and the founder of Buddhism and the image of such highly noble person is not for decoration. So, we sent a letter to the owner of Creation Piwat shop informing the right understanding and knowledge that the Buddha symbol is for paying respect and as a remembrance of his virtues and teaching, not as merchandise and decorative objects and that the products will misguide people to perceive him in a wrong way without having to pay respect to.

After receiving our letter, Creation Piwat shop agreed and willing to remove offensive products from the Facebook page as requested by KBO. Moreover, the shop clarified that there is no offensive intention toward Buddhism, and they are willing to cooperate.

Knowing Buddha Organization would like to express our sincere thanks to Creation Piwat shop for their understanding and prompt correction to stop selling any Buddha products. We wish Creation Piwat shop further success and prosperity in the future.
