Another admirable correction

Recently, Knowing Buddha Organization received notification from Buddhists who support the organization’s work in protecting Buddhism. The report suggested that Kacha company used Buddha’s statue as living room’s decoration shown on their website which considered to be disrespectful. Therefore, we informed the company that Buddha’s symbol should not be used for decorative or commercial purpose, and we decided to give the owner the right and proper ways to treat Buddha images

Not long after, Kacha company delicately considered this sensitive religious matter and decided to replace Buddha statues with other decorative objects.

This admirable correction is great example of the company doing business with a sense of respect for all religions, adjusting for sensitive religious matters and social norms and are willing to listen and correct for what is wrong.

Knowing Buddha Organization would like to express our sincere thanks to Kacha company for their understanding and prompt correction to prevent inappropriate behavior toward Buddha statue. We wish the company further success and prosperity in the future.

May we all be aware of this matter as a Buddhist. It is our duty when it comes to protecting and maintaining Buddhism and Buddha’s symbols. Although you are not Buddhist, proper respect is supposed to be spotted on in general. Guiding or correcting those around you who do not know would be highly appreciated.
