Another admirable cooperation, Suphun antique & wood carving shop has sold Buddha statue with inappropriate design for decoration

Recently, Knowing Buddha Organization received notification from Buddhists who support the organization’s work in protecting Buddhism that Suphun antique & wood carving shop has sold Buddha statue with inappropriate design for decoration. Therefore, we informed the shop and give the owner the right and proper ways to treat Buddha images with respect.

Not long after, Suphun antique & wood carving shop responded with careful consideration on this delicate matter and was willing to resolve the matter. The shop decided to stop selling and delete photos of inappropriate Buddha statue.

This is a very good example of a company doing business with a sense of respect for all religions, caring for delicate and sensitive religious matter and willingness to listen and correct for what is wrong.
