Recently, Knowing Buddha Organization was notified that Suksiam company was selling Buddha statues for decoration which considered to be highly inappropriate for Buddhist. Therefore, we sent a letter to Suksiam company informing the right understanding and knowledge for using Buddha symbol.

Not long after, Suksiam company responded with careful consideration on this delicate matter and was willing to resolve the matter.

Moreover, Suksiam company will carefully consider its products’ design adjusting to sensitive religious matters and social norms. The company is willing to listen to suggestions from Knowing Buddha Organization on this matter.

This is a very good example of a company doing business with a sense of respect for all religions, caring for delicate and sensitive religious matter and willingness to listen and make correction in accordance with Thais’ sentimental religious value.
