Shop SATO Thai has sold wet wipes products with inappropriate design using pictures of Buddha statue and Buddhist monk

Another successful quick cooperation
.
Recently, Knowing Buddha Organization received notification from Buddhists who support the organization’s work in protecting Buddhism that Shop SATO Thai has sold wet wipes products with inappropriate design using pictures of Buddha statue and Buddhist monk. Therefore, we informed the shop and give the owner the right and proper ways to treat Buddha images with respect.
.
Not long after, Shop SATO Thai page and company responded with careful consideration on this delicate matter and was willing to resolve the matter. After careful consideration, the page had decided to delete and stop selling wet wipes with inappropriate design via all online shopping platforms. Moreover, the company will carefully consider its products’ design on this delicate matter onwards.

This is a very good example of a company doing business with a sense of respect for all religions, caring for delicate and sensitive religious matter and willingness to listen and correct for what is wrong.

May we all be aware of this matter as a Buddhist. It is our duty when it comes to protecting and maintaining Buddhism and Buddha’s symbols.
Although you are not Buddhist, proper respect is supposed to be spotted on in general. Guiding or correcting those around you who do not know would be highly appreciated.
